About program
The primary goal of English Grammar 101 is to develop grammatical accuracy and structural awareness in both spoken and written English. The course aims to strengthen the student’s mastery of core grammar components—such as verb tense consistency, sentence formation, subject–verb agreement, and functional parts of speech—so they can communicate with clarity and precision. Another key objective is to build learner autonomy, enabling the student to self-correct and apply grammar rules confidently in real-life contexts.
This program follows a structured yet personalized approach tailored to the learner’s proficiency level and learning pace. Each session integrates explicit grammar instruction, guided practice, and immediate corrective feedback to ensure concept retention. Lessons are delivered through interactive screen-sharing, digital worksheets, sentence-construction drills, and contextualized speaking and writing tasks.
The one-on-one format allows for targeted error analysis, customized exercises, and continuous formative assessment. About
Hello, everyone! I’m Teacher Janet, a licensed and passionate educator with over eight years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to Korean, Chinese and American students. I’ve had the pleasure of working with students ranging from young children just starting their English journey to professionals aiming to improve their communication skills for global opportunities.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a major in English. Over the years, I’ve built a solid foundation in effective teaching strategies and developed lessons and materials tailored to the needs, goals, and interests of my students. My classes are interactive, engaging, and fun, encouraging students to express themselves and continuously improve their English skills.
In addition to teaching, I’ve spent the last three years working as a Virtual Assistant, providing professional support to Australian e-commerce and photography clients. This experience has sharpened my communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills—abilities that I bring into my teaching and classroom management.
What truly drives me is my love for sharing knowledge and learning from my students. I find joy in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, believing that every interaction is an opportunity for growth.
